Scholarships

As indicated, 15% of Unicollege students regularly benefit from scholarships issued by the university. While the scholarships listed below are regularly provided, Unicollege is open to consider further individual cases should there be a demonstrated financial limitation or constraints (for further information, email studyabroad@unicollegessml.it. Among the scholarships currently active at Unicollege, see:

The UGS provides candidates with the possibility to pay in one global transaction or installments – the request should be made upon enrollment, on the dedicated form (the option to pay in an allotted number of installments is indicated on the enrollment form).

Moreover, the UGS proudly assigns scholarships for merit (i.e., BA holders with cum laude degrees) and to candidates from proven disadvantaged backgrounds. As of today, 15% UGS candidates received a form of financial aid. In addition to the categories listed below, candidates can spontaneously request further and/or personal scholarships, motivated and supported by organic and proven documentation for biographical, professional, academic, personal, and any further miscellaneous motivation. Each request will be processed by an internal Committee that may partially or integrally award a scholarship to the applicant. All decisions made by the Committee cannot be contested and hold official and final value.

All requests for scholarships should be addressed to administration@unicollege.eu while enrolling in the program.

Candidates who received the final verdict (either receiving a partial/full scholarship or the non-assignation of any form of financial aid) will have 10 days to finalize their enrollment. After this term, candidates will need to re- submit the enrollment form. Requests for scholarships can be submitted only once.

NB: Candidates enrolled in Certificates cannot apply for scholarships.

List of identifiable categories for scholarship requests:

• BA with merit (for candidates who received BA degrees cum laude or equivalent)
• Disadvantaged backgrounds (i.e., financial, biographical, geopolitical, family-related, etc.)
• People with disabilities

Cancellation & Termination

Candidates who wish to either suspend or terminate their programs can submit a request to the office of academic affairs (academics@unicollege.eu) at any time. In case of extenuating circumstances, the abovementioned office may grant a temporary suspension of the candidate’s career and design an ad hoc tailored-made calendar to resume outstanding courses and exams on a later term – whether possible. Nevertheless, candidates enrolled in any program will not be refunded or compensated for their decision and/or miscellaneous contextual situation.

Candidates wishing to terminate their programs should submit a request to the abovementioned office, pay any outstanding fee and installment, and receive a transcript with all the courses finalized until then.

Negligence in the process may be treated in compliance with national and international laws.

Obtaining a Visa

While the obtainment of a visa for study can be finalized by individual students – or via the assistance of dedicated agencies or third parties – the Unicollege Graduate School provides ad hoc services throughout the process upon payment of a fee. Candidates seeking assistance for their visa via the UGS should contact the Institution in due time for further information and details.
