This cutting-edge Master is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the challenges posed by organized crime on a global scale – while equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to formulate innovative defense and security strategies. In this program, candidates will delve into the intricacies of organized crime structures and assess the risks they pose to global security; examine the impact of international relations on combating organized crime; explore the latest strategies in defense and security, with a focus on technological advancements and innovations in the field; gain a competitive edge by mastering a foreign language (Arabic, Chinese, or Russian).

Upon completion of this master, graduates from this Master will be well-positioned for roles in government agencies, international organizations, security consulting, and other fields where expertise in organized crime and global security is in high demand.

Language of instruction:

English and a second language (Arabic, Chinese, Russian)

Candidates can integrate a second language as either beginners (A0>A1+) and/or proficient users (A2 above). For the latter category, the UGS will diagnose the applicant’s level of proficiency (either via valid language certificate or via an interview with selected UGS staff/Faculty) to then allocate the candidate in an appropriate course.

Attendance:

Full-time and mandatory (minimum 75% of attendance)

Eligibility and requirements:

1) BA (completed or to be completed within 6 months) in, preferably:

– Criminology
– Psychology
– Social Science
– Anthropology
– Sociology
– Political Science
– International Relations

NB: candidates holding a BA from a different area and/ or specialization can still (conditionally) apply. UGS admission staff will consider candidacies on a case-by- case basis.

2) English proficiency level, B2 or above (validated
via official certificate (Cambridge, IELTS, TOEFL, OTE, LanguageCert or equivalent upon approval). Candidates who do not hold a valid certificate will be assessed, via interview, by qualified Unicollege language instructors.

3) ID and CV

Executive formula:

Candidates seeking a Master Executive will complete an additional 150-hour internship component at a selected professional partner.

Fees can be paid either fully (one transaction) or in installments – for the latter option, candidates should email administration@unicollege.eu for a customized plan prior to enrollment.
