The Certificate in Crime Sociology, Law & Investigation is a comprehensive program designed to provide participants with a deep understanding of the complex interplay between society, law, and the investigative process
in the realm of criminal activities. This course offers a multidisciplinary approach, drawing on principles from sociology, law, and investigative techniques to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to analyze, comprehend, and address various aspects of criminal behavior.
Upon completion of the Certificate in Crime Sociology,
Law & Investigation, participants will be better equipped
to critically analyze criminal phenomena, understand
the legal implications, and contribute effectively to
crime prevention and law enforcement efforts. This program is suitable for individuals aspiring to work in law enforcement, criminal justice, social services, or related fields, as well as those seeking to enhance their knowledge of crime from a sociological and legal perspective.

Attendance:
Full-time and mandatory (minimum 75% of attendance)
Eligibility and requirements:
1) BA (completed or to be completed within 6 months) in, preferably:
– Criminology
– Psychology
– Social Science
– Anthropology
– Sociology
– Political Science
NB: candidates holding a BA from a different area and/ or specialization can still (conditionally) apply. UGS admission staff will consider candidacies on a case-by- case basis.
2) English proficiency level, B2 or above (validated
via official certificate (Cambridge, IELTS, TOEFL, OTE, LanguageCert or equivalent upon approval). Candidates who do not hold a valid certificate will be assessed, via interview, by qualified Unicollege language instructors + second language requirements, see the Language of Instruction section for further details.

Fees can be paid either fully (one transaction) or in installments – for the latter option, candidates should email administration@unicollege.eu for a customized plan prior to enrollment.
